Y’all, 2016 is almost over.
Since my last post I finished up yet another semester of school and I turned 27. I’ve been 27 for one month as of Friday. Crazy to think that I am now, officially, in my late twenties. It is also kind of exciting. I feel like a new chapter of my life is about to begin.
27 is the age that I will graduate with my masters degree. Eventually I will go back and get my Psy.D but I’m just going to work for a while with my Masters and enjoy not having school. It is also the age where my metabolism is finally starting to slow down a little bit so I am trying to eat more healthy and get more into fitness. I even bought myself a fitbit so I can keep track of my sleeping patterns and my workouts…hashtag: adulting.
Aside from that, I have honestly just been living life. I have been getting more into photography and videography lately. I have included some photos throughout this blog post. I am working on finding my personal photography/videography style. Learning what editing I do and don’t like, what angles I like, and things like that. Being behind the camera is so much fun for me.
I am also really into nature lately so a lot of my pictures are nature shots. My Netflix watchlist is full of documentaries about oceans, deserts, the frozen earth, penguins, elephants, lions, and more. I am currently watching a documentary about melting icebergs as I type this. I can’t really explain where this interest stemmed from, but I just thoroughly enjoy learning about the earth and about most of the animals on it.
My word for age 27 is “Consistency”. I have been posting more consistently on my social media. I hope to post more consistently on this blog. I also hope I keep taking pictures and sharing them and keep working out and finally graduate with my masters. Being 27 is going to be fun. I am going to make it fun.
I think that’s it for right now. I’m not going to ramble just to fit a word count or anything like that. I’m excited to see what this next year of life holds for me and for my blog. I can’t wait to share more of my life with you all. Until next time…
